St. Norbert’s School’s After School Club (known in Danish as the SFO) offers children from 0-4th class activities both before and after school hours. There are currently 200 children each day and from April to June preschool children also join in.
St. Norbert’s Shool’s After School Club is available to children from 6:30-8:00 as well as from 12:05-17:00 every weekday.
The After School Club functions together with the Greenhouse (Væksthuset) daily. Also, we offer activities in the Maria House, the workshop, the sewing room, the oasis, the hall, in outdoor areas, in the school’s facilities and also on ’off-site’ locations.
Every day we provide food in the afternoon at 14.00 in the schoolyard. This afternoon meal is considered as a snack, which includes, among other things, fruit, vegetables and bread.
We hold a children’s meeting on the last Friday of every month. Here we tell the children about forthcoming activities and news.
To provide the best framework for the children each day, we focus on how the children, the parents, and the staff interact socially. In our work, we attach great importance to togetherness in both behaviour and language. We emphasize close dialogue with parents and the school, so that children’s individual and social well-being are handled as part of active cooperation.
At St. Norbert’s School, there is a tradition of open and active parental cooperation, and that also applies to the After School Club. You are always welcome to come in for a talk about matters, both great and small.
Our telephone number is SFO, Væksthuset: 76 40 09 29. In addition, you can also send us a message via Tabulex.
We look forward to welcoming you!
