In the subjects Danish, Math, and English the pupils are divided into two groups with approx. 17 students in each class. We do this to give the students a teaching that corresponds to their academic levels. This is how one gets the attention and depth that is so important. In other subjects, the two classes are read together – either with one or more teachers. At Sct. Norberts School a level distribution is a natural part of the higher levels 7th to 10th grade, and in the 10th grade we prioritize the idea of small studentgroups in the testsubjects. As many of the 10th grade students come with widely different academic skills, it is important that the professional development, that the students are challenged with, is at exactly the level they fit to. These times speaks for teaching at different academic levels and we see a significant change in all our students after a short period.
